Dr Hear App Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the Dr. Hear App (the “App”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the App provided by Hearzap (“Company (Iza Medi Technologies Pvt Ltd),” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the App, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

  1. General Terms
  2. 1.1 Purpose of the App

    The Dr. Hear App is designed to streamline medical referrals, facilitate patient consultations, and enhance communication between ENT doctors, patients, and Hearzap. The App provides tools for:

    • Doctors to refer patients for hearing tests and track their progress.
    • Patients to receive referral details and test-related updates.
    • Hearzap Team to manage patient data, appointments, and financial transactions.

    1.2 Eligibility to Use

    By using the App, you confirm that:

    • You are a registered medical practitioner, authorized representative of a clinic/hospital, or a patient referred through the App.
    • You will use the App in compliance with all applicable healthcare laws, data protection regulations, and ethical medical practices.

  3. User Responsibilities
  4. 2.1 Doctor’s Responsibilities

    • Doctors act as Admins in the App and can create sub-users (colleagues).
    • Doctors must enter accurate patient details when making a referral.
    • Doctors are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of patient data.
    • Financial transactions, including referral fees, are displayed transparently on the App’s Financial Dashboard.

    2.2 Patient’s Responsibilities

    By using the App, you confirm that:

    • Patients must ensure that the information they provide via the App is accurate.
    • Patients acknowledge that medical consultations and tests facilitated through the App do not replace a full medical diagnosis or treatment.
    • Patients may opt for home-based tests when applicable.

    2.3 Hearzap’s Responsibilities

    • Manage appointments and customer service.
    • Ensure compliance with healthcare data protection laws.
    • Maintain the App’s security and privacy standards.
    • Provide financial transparency regarding consultation fees.

  5. Data Privacy and Security
  6. 3.1 Data Collection

    The App collects and processes personal data (including patient names, contact details, referral details, and test results) strictly for healthcare and operational purposes.

    3.2 Data Sharing

    • Doctor Data: The doctor’s personal information remains confidential. However, Hearzap may process professional details (e.g., hospital affiliations, consultation fee agreements) for operational purposes.
    • Patient Data: Only referred patient details are shared with Hearzap to facilitate tests and consultations.
    • Third-party Sharing: No user data will be shared with third parties except when legally required or with explicit user consent.

    3.3 Security Measures

    • Data is encrypted and stored securely.
    • The App works both online and offline, ensuring data security even in cases of no internet connectivity.
    • The App uses OTP-based authentication for doctors to prevent unauthorized access.

  7. Financial Terms
  8. 4.1 Referral Fees

    • Doctors can track referred patients and associated consultation fees through the Financial Dashboard.
    • Doctors may redeem their accumulated fees using the "Redeem Now" option.
    • Financial transactions will be processed as per the agreements made between the doctor and Hearzap.

    4.2 Transparency in Transactions

    • The Finance Team at Hearzap will ensure accurate and timely transaction details.
    • The Management Team has role-based access to oversee financial operations without affecting doctor confidentiality.

  9. Compliance & Legal Considerations
    • The App complies with Indian healthcare regulations and data protection laws (such as the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023).
    • Doctors and patients must not misuse the App for fraudulent or unethical activities.
    • Any violation of these Terms may result in suspension or termination of the user account.

  10. Limitation of Liability
    • The App is intended only as a facilitation tool and does not provide medical treatment.
    • Hearzap is not responsible for medical errors, test results, or doctor-patient interactions.
    • Any disputes between doctors and patients regarding consultations must be handled independently.

  11. Modification of Terms
  12. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after modifications constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
